MARIE-HÉLÈNE PANISSET

WRITER & DIRECTOR

Marie-Hélène Panisset is an Academy Award Nominated producer, and an awarded director and screenwriter as well. Her fiction, documentary and dance films have travelled the world and been shown in commercial theaters and on national television. She began her career as an art director and she also occasionally works in the visual effects industry as an executive producer. Her films are always innovative but remain easily palatable. Two Straight Girls at a Queer Fest is her fdebut feature film  in English.

JUDITH BARIBEAU

LEAD ACTRESS

Judith Baribeau is a fully bilingual Canadian actress who has appeared on numerous TV shows for  NBC Universal Studios, Netflix, Radio-Canada and TVA). On the big screen, she worked with celebrated directors Kim Nguyen, Philippe Falardeau (in Oscar-nominated Monsieur Lazhar), John Duigan and Alexis Durand-Brault. Soon after shooting Two Straight Girls at a Queer Fest, she has become a screenwriter as well, writing herself a lead role in Jeanne Leblanc's award-winning Les nôtres.

CHARLES PAPASOFF

COMPOSER

Charles Papasoff is a musician, composer, arranger, actor, music director and producer. Mostly known for his mastery of the baritone saxophone, he plays a variety of other instruments and is at ease in a vast array of musical styles. He regularly composes music for television and movies both in France and Quebec, and has worked as an actor in both English and French, on both Canadian and American productions.

TOM RANDAXHE

EDITOR

Working a an assistant editor and VFX editor on major Hollywood productions such as Big Little lies, Sharp Objects and Roland Emmerich's Midway, Tom Randaxhe soon made his way to a full-blown editor, namely on Big Little Lies 2. He is also a director, working in animation.
